TLDR: The DLC is underwhelming at best and infuriating at worst. Stick to the free content, at least for now. PQ 101 is a piece of♥♥♥♥♥♥and whoever designed it had a grudge against fun.First off, the new characters. Frost is a a moveset clone of Frieza with 2 new moves, at least one of which is available from the TP medal shop anyway for everybody, not just DLC holders. Cabba is the same. Plays like Vegeta, has only 2 unique moves, one of which you can get without getting the DLC (the other is a reskinned Galick Gun).Next up: Hit, the new mentor who brings the lion's share of the new moves to the DLC (4 out of the 5 actually). Trouble is, while these moves are pretty cool to look at they're also pretty situational and more than a little awkward to use well. They're all strike moves and while it is cool to see strikes getting some love chances are you already have moves that are better than the ones Hit teaches you. His training sessions are also oddly frustrating and difficult compared to every other mentor, making the whole thing a slightly irritating experience. Then there's the PQs. Oh, the PQs. You get 3 for starters, which isn't exactly amazing. No new story content either like in the original Xenoverse. Just 3 PQs with new (but sadly minimal) voice acting. PQs 102 and 103 are pretty standard for high level Xenoverse 2 quests. Fight dudes, AI input reads you, get frustrated, get items and money when you're done. But Parallel Quest 101 is by far the worst part of the entire game and one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with games. The gist is you're on an escort mission. You have to escort Goku and Vegeta, who have been given some of the worst AI possible and a health bar the size of a gnats toenail through a long, drawn out gauntlet of fighters who have been given the standard high level XV2 AI (The same kind they give SNK bosses, if you know what I mean) and a generous damage and defense boost. The mission is over when Goku and Vegeta get knocked out. Which is pretty easy when they love to fly facefirst into ultimate attacks, knock the enemy out of my combos (their attacks do almost no damage either by the way) and refuse to block or dodge anything. Oh, and you need to keep their HP above 50% for the ultimate finish. Put it this way, if you leave them alone long enough, it is entirely possible for Goku and Vegeta to get murdered by Krillin. KRILLIN. The first guy in the mission you fight. The last special attack in the DLC needs an ultimate finish from this mission to get and frankly, I don't want it if it means I have to play it one more time. The mission is poorly designed and having content you've paid for gated behind it is annoying and insulting.PQ 101 is all the worst parts of XV2 condensed into one 15 minute session of hell. WHICH YOU PAY FOR.The last part of the DLC is the new equipables. The Super Souls you get are probably the highlight, even though they're so powerful they make a more than a few other Super Souls redundant. The 2 costumes you get are a little disappointing. I don't like the Cabba costume personally but others might, and at least it's new. Champa's gear on the other hand is just Beerus' clothes recoloured slightly. To put it bluntly, this pack is not worth the money. Not even close. You can get the best parts of it (Frost and Cabba's unique ultimates) completely for free and you're not missing anything substantial like story content either. Most of the content is mediocre, insubstantial and questionably implemented. Hell, after playing PQ 101 I'm convinced you'll enjoy XV2 more if you DON'T buy this pack. Personal tastes are subjective of course, but whether it's Xenoverse 2 or another game, you can have way more fun and content (and far less frustration) spending your money on something else.. Buy it for the Super-Souls or not at all. Won't recommend buying it unless the price drops to $3 at MOST.. First of all, Hit is still making his Donuts for Goku. Seriously, though. This DLC seems rather.... lacking. Two characters, Frost & Cabba, it's cool, but where are Magetta and Botamo? There's no new story elements, there's only three parallel quests which is rather disappointing. One of the cooler things was being able to have Hit as your master, and learning some of his abilities. Sadly for me, the cons outweigh the pro's. I hope the future DLC improves upon how many characters we get, since the Universal Survival Arc is incoming, which would mean that we should get some of those characters too. I'd also like some more story to be added with the DLC.. Sad ♥♥♥♥ing excuse for a DLC. Not going to pre-order another DB game ever again. Such ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t.. The costumes are nice(Except Cabba's clothes, that's just crap), but... 5 attacks is really lacking. Sure, Hit has some nice moves if you have him as a mentor, but... that's it. I'd say wait for another pack.. First of all, Hit is still making his Donuts for Goku. Seriously, though. Wow I really enjoy playing as first and third form frost oh waitWow I really enjoy playing as ssj goku and vegeta from the champa arc oh waitWow the English voices work perfectly! Oh waitAt least there's many new hours of new content! Oh waitAt least the new characters are fun to play as... no? Well ya they're funEdit: It took them until dlc 2 to fix the voice clips. Good job dimps...Edit again: dlc 3 ruined the voice clips for the dlc 1 characters. Bad job dimps...Yet another Edit: dlc 4 fixed the voice clips for frost and cabba again... yay?
